The Museum Path in the Municipality of Vinci

In Vinci, where Leonardo was born and developed early inspiration for his studies and paintings, the Leonardo Museum presents one of the most extensive and original collections dedicated to his many interests. We experience Leonardo as technologist, architect and scientist and we also look at the more general development of Renaissance techniques.

The museum itinerary is divided through two adjacent buildings: the Palazzina Uzielli and the Castle of the Conti Guidi. The route includes machines and models accompanied - not only by precise references to the artist's sketches, manuscripts and handwritten notes - but also digital animations and interactive experiences.
